It’s Easy! Tucked away in a harbour or boat yard near you, or along the seashore there will be a reminder of the forgotten age of sail, or of wooden boats. Perhaps you know of a wreck, or a long-disused boat shed which has become an Alladins cave of interesting chandlery - or you have a great photograph from the era of sail?

 I’m always looking for images that would make an interesting drawing - please send or E-mail me an image of what you have seen, together with a few words about where and what it is, and if I use your image I will send you Number 1 (of 75) of the signed limited-edition print I produce from your image. Your limited edition print will be of the highest quality - we use archival inks and the very best papers.

All material we receive will be acknowledged but we regret that we cannot return sent items.

Please make sure that the image you send is one you have either taken yourself; or, in the case of an ‘old photograph’, that all attempts to find the name of the photographer have failed.

To improve your chance of getting your image drawn, ensure that there is plenty of detail in the image; that it is well-lit; and consider taking the photo from an angle with interesting foreground detail. Please look through the images on this site to get some ideas.
