Maritime Heritage Art Contemporary art with a traditional theme.

Old Quay, Bowmore1

Nearly Home!

Nearly Home

At around 6 or 7 on a summer’s evening just as the wind is falling calm up springs one last breeze lasting 15 or 20 minutes - just long enough to get you home. Then, just as the wind retires for the day you can settle back in your mooring, or anchorage, quietly furl the sails away, and listen to the shriek of the Curlews as they pick their way along the low water sand .

Original - Available from The Waterside Gallery, St Mawes, Cornwall: www.watersidegallery.co.uk where it is on exhibition. If you would like it sent to you - please let me know by clicking here.
